Middle School Students Welcome Rising 6th Graders to the Land

On Wednesday, May 26th, the Middle Schoolers said farewell to the Class of 2010 and welcome to the Class of 2013 in a wonderful ceremony at the Land.

The eighth graders presented the rising 6th graders with beads and a gift to place in a location of their choice on the property.  They were then called to their new tribes:  The Black Bears, The Otters or the Raccoons to learn their tribe chant and spend the morning with their new tribe members.

The fourth levels (rising 5th levels) were asked to join the tribes as special guests for lunch.  It was a beautiful day enjoyed by everyone.  Check out some of the pictures from this special day!
